The Galveston Restaurant Association and Galveston.com & Company "Great Taste of the Gulf" Epicurean Evening will take place on Monday, September 27, 2010th from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Moody Gardens Convention Center and has been generously underwritten by Galveston.com & Company for the eighth consecutive year. Guests attending the event will have the opportunity to sample some of the Gulf Coast's finest cuisine and beverages from Galveston County's top restaurateurs, hoteliers and dedicated suppliers.
Festivities for the evening will include a Silent Auction featuring a variety of unique items, Awards Presentation and the bestowing of the Silver Spoon and Silver Fork Award honoring the best overall participant.
Tickets include admission to the event, sampling of entries and an array of promotional beverages, and can be purchased for $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Advance tickets are available online, or by phone at (888) 939-8680. Parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the convention center.
